Project Manager/Architect

Responsibilities:

  • The Fuller Center was founded in 2006 by Millard Fuller who also founded Habitat for Humanity and is a faith based work place. We do exactly what Habitat does but only in North West Louisiana mainly in the Shreveport/Bossier area. The only real difference between us an Habitat is we do not accept government funds to build our homes.I am the qualified party for our state license in residential construction.I run the construction department and do everything related to the construction of affordable housing for veterans and low income families. The Fuller Center is a not for profit and as such I have to wear many hats in order to complete our projects within the funding that is available to us. The Fuller Center is run by a volunteer board of directors and available funding just never seems to reach the employees in the form of benefits, raises and or adequate bonuses. It is for this reason and this reason only I am looking to move on.
