He recently finished work as Technical Lead and developer for the EPIC ROI Review project for the Office of Personnel Management OPM , a project to replace the Report of Investigation ROI part of the PIPS program. EPIC consists of a suite of programs which will together replace PIPS. The suite will be unified on the front end behind an Oracle WebCenter Portal and on the back end by an ADABAS database from PIPS with a Connx JDBC interface. PIPS is used to track security clearance investigations which are performed by OPM for various government agencies. This is a very high volume application which is being implemented in WebCenter Portal framework, Oracle WebLogic Application Server, JDeveloper IDE, and WebSphere Message Broker. Using Java, Java EE, Spring, Hibernate.As Technical Lead on the OPM ROI Review project, he directs the work of other developers and works with the project manager to plan the course of work on the project.
