Confidential

Role: JAVA Developer

Tools: JCreator, Tomcat

Description:

The main goal of this project is to meet the diverse QOS of emerging multimedia application and in communication networks to provide end-to-end QOS guarantee.QOS routing is the first step towards this goal. Distributed cache architecture consists of cache elements deployed across the network. The cache element is temporary storage, which stores the information about the path from one element to the other. The cache elements are connected together by means of pointers. The large network is partitioned into several domains. Each domain is connected to the rest of the network through its border nodes. A cache table maintains the information necessary for cache updates. A distributed cache algorithm uses the local information kept by each border node to send message through the route which has maximum bandwidth available. When a link failure is detected the algorithm notifies all other nodes that have cached the link in a distributed manner. To alleviate the effect of network state fluctuation on the cached routes, cache snooping is used. This is one of the techniques which can be implemented to improve performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Involved in gathering requirements.
  • Created class libraries for cache architecture.
  • Implemented Software Requirement Specification SRS , Sequence diagrams, Use case diagrams in the application.
  • Implemented Object Oriented Programming concepts in application development.
  • Created tables, functions, packages, stored procedures using PL-SQL.
