These prices are devised using a formulated set of rules deployed under a unique release ID. The target of this project was to create software which takes various releases as inputs and compares them and creates a variety of graphical reports which portray which rule will maximize the revenues pertaining to a particular market (Origin and Destination). This facilitates the client to make a sound judgment about which rule should be deployed onto a particular market keeping the price competitive. This process was earlier done manually and took more than a week to get the final results of analysis or just 2 releases. And now with the process automated it takes a few minutes to compare as many releases as needed. So this project enables the client to do this analysis more frequently and deploy new better rules with more effect resulting in much greater ROI.
