Daily task included running Unix shell scripts (batch job) to launch Java programs to process insurance claims files and upload the data into the Oracle Claims Tracking System data base. Also monitored the CTS application support mailbox daily to help resolve production issues that the CTS/ESC agent encountered.
- Designed, coded and implemented a multithreaded Java 2 application to extract approximately 35,000 internal (Delta Airlines and Confidential employees) and external applicant resumes, job requisitions and applicant tracking data from an Oracle 8i Resumix database for purpose of porting to new system, archiving and creating EEO (sex and race or ethnic origin information) statistical reports. The Employee Directory Search code used the FS engine to build Fast Search Queries behind the scenes. Responsible for developing a customized Java based Oracle database Indexer called the SearchIndexer servlet to work in conjunction with the FS Engine to read data from multiple tables. - Designed and implemented for BellSouth the BITTS user interface user ID and password verification and deployed it on the HP-UX platform. Developed for BITTS the CLLI Table administration code that allows the user to conveniently make changes to the CLLI Table so that BITTS will have the correct information when creating tickets in the other modules of the Billing system.
- Developed the BellSouth BITTS Error History Log that is used to track requests that are in an error state with BITTS. It consisted of a list that contains a line for each error state a work request is in and the time it was assigned that state as well as the associated error codes.
- Developed Java SWING based GUI for the CONQ (Cost Of Non-Quality) engineering software on the Solaris Unix platform for Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Space Systems. The middle-ware of Confidential Compass contains the travel industry business rules and is coded in C/C++, along with Embedded SQL statements that allows for interfacing with the SQL Server.
- Installed the drivers for the Sound Blaster 16 and AWE32 Sound card on the OS/2 Warp platform for the Confidential Travel Agency Multimedia demo. Downloaded and applied fixes to the OS/2 version 2.0 and OS/2 version 3.0 (Warp) OS. Assisted in configuring and tuning OS/2 Warp as well as performing the install of IBM Peer (NetBios over TCP/IP) for OS/2 to allow for interoperating with the existing Microsoft Network.
