Responsibilities:- Designed and built a Data Warehouse to support Whole Loan Trading using SSIS and MS SQL Server. Created ETL processes to support the warehouse.
- Architected and helped build a C#.Net SOA framework to support a diverse set of applications and users including Front, Middle and Back Office personnel. Applications developed included P+L Reporting, TOB Trading, Whole Loan Purchase, Loan Housing and Remarketing. The SOA framework and these applications used the data stored in the Data Warehouse.
- Designed and built a position database, extending the capabilities of the Data Warehouse to support P+L Reporting, Cost of Carry Calculations and Position Management. These applications gave management and traders a complete view of their P+L for the first time.
- Managed the outsourcing of a set of applications to support the Tender Option Bond (TOB) traders, built using the above framework. Doubled the TOB program and created a new external client business with a predicted list of 20+ new clients in 2008. Extended the Data Warehouse to support TOB.
- Built a set of applications to support RMBS Whole Loan trading. Warehoused loans from origination to securitization or until sold. This platform enabled traders to competitively bid, buy and securitize or sell whole loans as well as to market a FAS 91 accounting system. FAS 91 reporting to external clients added $600,000 of revenue in 2007.
