- Engagement / Project Manager responsible for migrating proof of concept ANSI - 41 Wireless Technical Data Record (TDR) ODS and Data Mart in use by 500+ Customer Care operators.
- The system acquires 1 - 5 million wireless TDR per hour through an Ab Initio ETL process. The records are extracted as part of an OLTP and stored in an Oracle 8i data mart. The records are then accessed through a web browser interface by the end user. My effort was to standardize and optimize the original data model into a snow flake / star schema model, review and validate the online transactional processes (OLTP) feeding the TDR, improve overall data stability (quality, exception management and timing) and transfer the ETL and data components to the Alltel technical support services.
- Following completion of the Customer Care Data Mart, developed additions to TeraData Data Warehouse data model to support customer care status feed to support OLAP reporting services.
