Federal Legislation in 2009: I created and launched benefits solutions to bring 40+ employers who utilize Fidelity’s HR services into compliance with the following legislative changes: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) COBRA Subsidy, ARRA HCTC COBRA Extension, Children’s Health Insurance Protection Re-Authorization Act, ARRA HIPAA Health IT, Michelle’s Law, Medicare Secondary Payer Reporting Changes, HEART Act, Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act, etc. Recently I have been focused on the impending Healthcare Reform and its impact on employer benefits.
Product Definition and Standardization: I successfully completed a multi-year initiative to fully define and document Fidelity’s Health and Wellness Services offering, creating 38 product guides to fully detail each segment and option within Fidelity’s Health and Wellness offering. This work was essential in streamlining the offering, and was the cornerstone for the creation of accompanying implementation and system configuration guides to reduce variability and operating costs, while increasing quality for our clients.
