Online Banking and Investing: Asked to take over the Business Project Manager role on a project that was in a yellow status (based on the traffic light status system). Quickly completed a people, process, and technology assessment of the project. As a result, realigned resources and tweaked a few processes. Led a core team of five business professionals and an extended team of over 30 banking specialists. Partnered with Key’s technology organization to manage the scope and delivery of this service. The project was in a green status within three weeks. Key’s Online Banking and Investing project was implemented on schedule, within budget and with optimized scope and quality.
Online Email Management: Managed the entire life cycle of the Online Email Management system that integrated incoming customer email from multiple sources into one database. Developed test plans and coordinated user acceptance testing. Worked extensively with the Customer Service areas to ensure that procedures were developed and training on the use of the system took place. Two years after implementation, email volume had tripled, productivity rose, and aggressive service levels were achieved with no increase in staff.
Customer Service Systems: managed the 5-month testing effort of integrating KeyBank’s legacy systems into Society’s client-server, front-end customer service system. Developed the testing methodology, defect tracking, and reporting processes. Incorporated process improvement techniques to enhance each successive testing cycle. Coordinated testing requirements with over a dozen interfacing systems.
