  • Mobile TV middleware team:
  • Led the architecture design of the Mobile TV middleware for S60 5.0 and Symbian MCL 9.2. Implemented the Mobile TV/DVBH engine and MBMS Security engine. The system is also updated to support Brazil ISDB Mobile TV and other Mobile TV standards.
  • Designed and implemented the Dolby Digital (AC3/EAC3) playback support for AVI, Matroska and MP4 file containers. Dolby is one of the selling points of the Confidential N8 phone.
  • Helix Player engine team:
  • Designed and implemented the following key functionalities for Helix client engine:
  • Security output changes functionalities for protected mobile TV content. Trick Play functionalities. Meta Data handling for WMV/WMA. Advanced audio effects.
  • Team Lead at S60 Media Player (UI) team:
  • Worked as S60 technical consultant in multimedia/video area in Samsung’s Magna project (S60 external licensee). Led and coordinated the joint effort for multimedia/video area from TI, Samsung and Confidential . Successfully delivered Magna - the first S60 phone with Helix player engine.
