  • They provide ERP solutions, consulting, professional services and business transformation to every industry and service sector known.
  • SAP employs nearly 50,000 worldwide in over 60 countries.
  • My SAP skill set is SD, Logistics, Foreign Trade and MM.
  • My primary skill set with SAP America was Global Trade
  • One of their solutions, Global Trade Services (GTS) is part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance area. When GTS was introduced in 2001, its primary feature was automated Sanctioned Party List and Embargo screening. After 911, governments in the US and EU mandated that exporters and importers implement a screening process. As a result, numerous SAP customers sought the SAP GTS solution. With that demand I was hired by SAP as one of the first five consultants to provide the solution.
  • As GTS evolved, its functionality expanded into export and import licensing in compliance with US Customs, Commerce, and Department of Defense and other government agencies.
  • In addition, it provided import and export features such as electronic d Confidential interface (EDI) with US and EU customs authorities in providing duties, letter of credit and p processing.
