EPIC Analyst TDR
Responsibilities:
- Confidential is implementing the Epic EHR (Electronic Health Record) across the enterprise in Minnesota & Florida.
- Minnesota & Florida project is End-user Devices which includes surveying devices, identifying gaps, procuring and deploying new devices, performing Epic application build, and executing a Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR).
- TDR tester testing each device at each of the Mayo sites in the weeks and months prior to each go-live.
- These devices include workstations, printers, e-signature pads, bar code scanners, Document Scanner, Dictation Mic and other end-user devices that integrate with the Epic EHR.
- Testing mobile device using the integrated Rover (IPHONE) mobile app from Epic as an extension of workstation-based bedside computing. Assess to patient chart will be as simple as tapping a patient's name from list, or scanning a patient's wristband with the attached barcode scanner. - The TDR Team is split into two roles, each with separate duties. The Virtual Command Center Liaison and Field Team Leads.
- Coordinate and lead the testing efforts at a given hospital or clinic location.
