• Confidential in partnership with First Data Corporation, was awarded a major contract to provide project management office PMO services to the State of Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services DCFS OneDCFS initiative. The OneDCFS project objectives are to streamline, modernize, and reorganize the entire department to serve the state's vulnerable citizens by integrating and aligning services, staff, and information systems. Through OneDCFS, the state's child welfare, child support enforcement, child care, TANF, supplemental nutrition, and disaster assistance programs will be unified providing an outcome driven and evidence-based service delivery system. In general, Mr. Cannizzo was responsible for providing project management services which included creation of new processes and assisting in implementation of standard project management methodologies along with creating and updating advance planning documentation, cost allocation, requests for proposals RFP , communications, community partner outreach initiatives, training, business process reengineering, mentoring, data collection and analysis, organizational change management, issue and risk management, and organizational modeling. Along with his general PMO responsibilities, he served as the project management consultant for the Document Imaging Content Management System, one of the three 3 core initiatives developed in order to assist Louisiana in their transformation effort. As the project management consultant to the Document Imaging project, Mr. Cannizzo was responsible for the procurement and planning efforts including working with end users, project sponsors and their representatives to develop system requirements, and for the development of the RFP, including proposal evaluation and contract negotiations. Mr. Cannizzo assisted the State's Document Imaging project manager in defining the project objectives, monitoring project tasks, risk and issues and vendor compliance.

• Confidential In 2005 the State of Oregon made a strategic decision to cancel all previous Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System SACWIS development efforts and to conduct a competitive procurement to secure a SACWIS system to support the Oregon child welfare business practice. The Oregon DHS selected WRMA to be the Planning and Quality Control vendor for this multi-year project. Mr. Cannizzo worked part-time through the 2009 year on this engagement. Mr. Cannizzo was responsible for assisting the state in planning, development and execution of testing methods and test scripts as well as providing quality control monitoring of the DD I vendor.
• Confidential elected to transfer the web-enabled SACWIS system from Wisconsin and adapt it to meet the state's needs. The adaptation provides DCF with a fully integrated, highly functional, and robust system, which will improve the efficient and effective delivery of critical services to safeguard Florida's children. As a subcontractor to CGI-AMS, Mr. Cannizzo contribution on these projects has been in the definition/validation of the system's requirements, system design, business process modeling/re-engineering, testing, implementation and support. Mr. Cannizzo responsibilities include working with end users and other various stakeholders to design interfaces to internal and external systems ie, Florida Department of Law Enforcement FDLE , Child Support Enforcement . He lead participates in JAD sessions in order to design multiple components for the Case Management program track responsibility include requirements, gap and impact analysis, workflow, creation of designs documents, test script and training material for modules such as Security, Organization Structure, Person Management, Person Merge, Worker Assignments, Maintain Worker, Missing Child Tracking, Out of Home Placement and Placement Correction. Mr. Cannizzo in cooperation with DCF reporting administrators and contractor staff defined data marts and data warehousing structures for scheduled and on demand reporting capabilities within a Business Objects environment in order to streamline data mining, online analytical processing, querying and reporting processes. Mr. Cannizzo aided in designing/redesigning over 200 reports that are utilized in measurement of key metrics for performance, management and other services. Mr. Cannizzo also served as the subject matter expert SME and lead analyst for federal reporting responsible for the design, documentation, testing and implementation of the Adoption and Foster Care Reporting System AFCARS and the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System NCANDS .
• Confidential In his role as a Business Analyst, Confidential aided in the development of a custom designed web-based SACWIS application that used JAVA scripting extensively to implement the GUI design with an Oracle DBMS. Mr. Cannizzo responsibilities included creation of use cases, screen designs, screen specifications and report specifications. He served as the conduit between client subject matter experts participating in design sessions and the software development team, in order to establish technical vision for assigned topics as well as to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. He participated in requirement, gap and impact analysis sessions to define and document system requirements and revised business processes. Confidential also aided in the development of web-based training WBT system that encompassed system functionalities. These functionalities included basic navigation, common functions, intake screening, investigation, assessments, case maintenance, and ongoing services and provider/resources management. He worked closely with the state counterparts to ensure system design and participated in comprehensive system testing for each program tracks. • Confidential As the Information Automation consultant duties included: maintaining functional specifications for new and/or modified information systems, identifying system integration issues and conflicts in processes for the client-server based SACWIS application, which utilized Visual Basic GUI design with an Oracle DBMS. He participated in weekly sessions with application support staff to analyze operational issues and develop practical solutions. Mr. Cannizzo tested these software solutions with special emphasis on business function capabilities. Mr. Cannizzo also served as the third and final level of triage support.
