State Farm is a financial and insurance services firm specializing in retirement savings, Annuities, property and casualty insurance and providing other services like business and Life Insurance.
The project was called “Online Auto Claim”. The “Auto Claim” application was developed to automate the process of claims submission by State Farm Insurance customers. The new application was integrated with the existing Account Access application that allowed users to submit new insurance requests. Data about insurance requests and claims would be collected from users and processing would be done to calculate premium and claim amounts. State farm wanted to provide a single platform to its customers through Account Access that would also allow them to submit claims online.
Responsibilities:
- Gathered and documented the requirements that are critical to the business and using those requirements to design application software.
