Business Analyst/QA at Transamerica
- Write and execute automated tests and test suites using Selenium IDE for QA regression and developer unit testing. Test scripts are on Sharepoint so the whole team has access to them. I also list which automated script s can be used to test this item within the ticket.
- Write and execute manual test cases. For larger items I link the test plans from the ticket to Sharepoint where they are stored. For smaller items the steps used to test and results are in the acceptance criteria in the TFS ticket.
- Work with TFS, Test Manager and Trello for tracking project requirements, development and defects in an agile test environment. Trello is also where we put ideas in for the business unit and dev to review and decide if they want to incorporate them into a sprint.
- Use Google Analytics and browser developer tools to verify the page views and events are being tracked. This also can show if there are any script errors in the browser console so I can report to dev any issues so that they can review and bring it up for discussion or fix it.
- Review and clarify requirements with team members to make sure the application is accurate and functions as the business unit expects.

- Wrote and executed test plans where requirements were occasionally from written documents. Some requirements were written in the ticket in Mercury Quality Center and, more recently, in Jira or Confluence.
