For the past ten months, I have provided Level II Help Desk Support for the Wisconsin Immunization Registry. This has included problem analysis and resolution, data exchange, and interfacing with the Center for Disease Control. Prior to that I supported the Nevada Medicaid contract performing data analysis and ad hoc reporting.
Provide support to the State of Nevada users of the Medicaid Management Information System MMIS . Support IT staff in the migration of various changes to the system. Provide reporting to management on the number of changes that are addressed on a monthly basis. Submit and document production schedule changes to operations support staff. Perform system balancing between the mainframe database and user extract files. Analyze data integrity problems and perform SQL fixes to the database. Support in-house users of the Nevada MMIS.
Human Resources Information Systems Analyst. Provide support to 45 users of ADP and Kronos Human Resources Information System for 4,500 employees at 10 Reno locations. Provide answers to user questions regarding system functionality, train users, interface with IR staff to resolve performance and hardware issues, and create custom reports with Reportsmith and Crystal software. Analyze data integrity problems and recommend fixes and/or changes to processing methodology.
Human Resources Information Systems Manager. Convert HRIS from ADP to J.D. Edwards software. Provide support for the 3,000 employee database to 20 HR and Payroll personnel. Provide answers to user questions regarding system functionality, interface with the vendor on system software problems, train users, establish security for user access, interface with IS staff to resolve performance problems, and create custom reports with Reportsmith and Crystal software.
Human Resources Information Systems Manager. Provide support to 50 users of RAMCO Human Resources Information System for 10,000 employees at five Las Vegas and two Missouri properties. The system runs on a Novell network running Microsoft SQL Server. Provide answers to user questions regarding system functionality, interface with vendor on system software problems, train users, establish security for user access, interface with IS staff to resolve performance, hardware, and payroll interface issues, create custom reports with Crystal software, install and test software fixes, support Scantron equipment for employment center, and responsible for the department computer budget.
Systems Manager. Provided computer systems support for the Student Financial Services office. This support included new PC installation and setup for Microsoft Windows, database development using Access, NetWare 3.12 installation, Student Information System SIS mainframe support, Usoft document imaging systems support, and general problem resolution. Fiscal Operations Report, Student Status Confirmation Reporting, Electronic Student Aid Report, and Pell Payment updating performed to meet U.S. Department of Education requirements.
Provided IDMS database support for Justice Court, Elections, Business License, and Social Services CACTUS systems. Technical assistance provided to the systems development support staff in the use of the DBMS and related utilities, set up backup and recovery procedure for all production mainframe databases. Provided COBOL programming support. Committee member for project to determine client/server development tools, database, and reporting tool platforms to be used for future systems development.
Data Management Supervisor.
Oversaw logical and physical database design of financial and payroll systems for the Corporate Information Resources management organization using DB2, IDMS, and FOCUS. Provided technical support to a staff of 30 programmers and analysts doing development with CICS. Monitored and tuned applications. Performed disk storage management and planning functions. Interfaced extensively with the systems programming, operations, and user departments in problem resolution and support. Established database standards, adherence to system development life cycle, and extended relational analysis in database and systems design. Worked on the development of a business resumption disaster plan. Supported Integral Systems, Inc. payroll/human resources, Dun Bradstreet's general ledger and accounts payable databases. Performed departmental budgeting.
