The project was about migration of the old Omniplan 401K recordkeeping system to newer Confidential recordkeeping system replacing VSAM with DB2. This was to reduce the major concern of Putnam Investments of having obsolete recordkeeping system and enable it to increase its service level capability to plan sponsors and participants of 401k plan by introducing improved functionality and responsiveness.
