Project Description:

CONFIDENTAIL creates a single point for addressing all the grant opportunities and related contract issues. All 27 agencies in New York will go through the single system for building up the grant opportunities, building contracts and issuing related payments. Grants Gateway is a system, which is created to build the grant opportunity, contract, payments and vouchers. We created the application related to the entire payment process from issuing the payment orders to issuing the vouchers.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the current workflow process and mapping it with the Grants Gateway system
  • Meet up with different agencies such as Department of Health, Department of homeland security, etc to gather their current process and their requirements with respect to Grants Gateway.
  • Involve in creating the process for bulkloding the data from external system to the Grants gateway system.
  • Reconcile Contract header, Payment order and voucher against the system generated and created automated process for reconciliation.
  • Involved in Extracting big data's Data related to claim, vendors, payments, vouchers, etc , Transfer into Excel sheet for analysis and load back to the client Agencies and back to database with new Attributes.

This project is actually a Business and Technology transformation from their Mainframe legacy system, which required so much manual intervention, and we developed an end-to-end integrated solution using Agile Methodology, that helped the underwriters and other end users life lot easier. Elicited the User Stories using Ice scrum tool and delivered the product on 4 Weeks Scrum Cycle.
