- Methodology of Waterfall and Agile combination worked on this project to make it successful because waterfall worked for purchasing and setup of new servers and agile for tasks of retrofitting custom code, implementing new features via setup and custom code, streamlining processes and removal of custom processes and code. Also. database alarms to prevent running out of cache or temp space, as well as automatic workload repository settings.
- Work with security administrator on redesign to allocate security roles and permissions based on position identifiers (first three positions identify the business unit; fourth position identifies level in organization followed last four digits). So, default security roles and permission to automatically setup for each user id. If by chance dual functions are required for a user id due to staff shortage, temp roles and permissions are granted for a short duration before automatically being deleted due to segregation of duties (SOD) violation to meet Sardines-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance
