Program Manager

Responsibilities:

  • While working for Essintial as a Program Manager, I was responsible for all phases of the integration of IBM/Toshiba’s cutover of their POS Environment to Essintail. This was a Nationwide Project that utilized over 350 new technicians. Duties included, but were not limited to, hiring technicians, hiring support staff, monitoring service calls, along with the liaison of the Essintial Team with IBM and Toshiba. Project was for six months.

Responsibilities:

  • Within this position at Confidential, I was responsible for all phases of project management to include idea analysis, feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation and close out of IT Infrastructure projects involving both business and IT professionals. Responsibilities:

  • Started new maintenance group within Confidential s for IBM. This included all analysis, modeling and projections to replace Suntrust’s in house Computer Services Group. Set up Districts, hired all personnel, trained all personnel, and monitored all aspects of new Model for IBM. Initial contract has taken over computing services from SunTrust’s in house CTS group and modified and revamped service procedures to a more cohesive and leaner set of guidelines. Eliminated large backlog of service calls within two months while new technicians. Hired all technicians including those in other Districts.
  • Brought service response rates from 33% to a currently maintained 98% utilizing HP Service Center. Saved SunTrust 7 million dollars on a yearly basis with a customer satisfaction rate of 98%.
  • Managed 33 technicians that repair, upgrade, and maintain all aspects of computing in these areas. Responsibilities include routers, switches, servers, sans, UPS, phone systems, and desktops/laptops and all operating systems (Microsoft, Unix/Linux, and Novell), and associated application software through Altiris on an Enterprise Level.
