• Designed the Issue resolution process flow for resolving the issues identified as part of the WebFOCUS upgrade. Played a triaging role to analyze the issues and provide the necessary actionable items to resolve the issue.
• Worked on migrating the existing API’s using the RESTful Web Services considering the overhead of using Jar files to build the API’s. I have successfully completed one API which we have built to create schedule, access library content and delete the .lib files after the retention period.
• Implemented the LDAP driven security model based on the business AD groups (existing was PTH). All the authentication and authorization is based on the AD groups driven mechanism. This helped us to be consistent with the enterprise security model in Target.
• Designed the enterprise Security Roles that can be used across all the domains in WebFOCUS. Created and assigned the necessary privileges for every role.
• Designed the Security model to have the group created for every domain application to assign the enterprise roles.
• Worked on the Performance issues with respect to loading the app path based on how it is defined on the edasprof file. This created an overhead on the entire application performance. Designed a solution called “Shortened APP PATH” the way this works is it loads the APP PATH based on how it is defined in their profiles (business profiles) it cuts down the entire enterprise APP PATH.
