Worked on the Disaster recovery of the Application: Had to rebuild the entire system from scratch to where it was in less than 15 days. This includes working with many different teams which were involved in the recovery process.
Ariba Category Procurement: Aided the team in implementation of the Category Procurement module for the client. This is to procure and track the TEMP services.

Responsibilities:

Ariba Invoice module implementation: Invoicing module implementation was bit different from the OOTB invoicing module provided by Ariba. Invoices are sent to core finance from Supplier, EDI or through quick invoice eform which is manually done by a separate team. All the invoices are first loaded in to Core Finance. On a daily basis, core finance sends all the invoices to Ariba. In Ariba we match the invoices against POs/Receipts and reconciled. A separate approval flow is defined to handle the invoice matching and exception handling process.
Implementation of Ariba MRO interface: Maximo is another application used by the client to facilitate its day to day Maintenance and operations activities. Users from Maximo shop floor need to order parts to support their daily operations. As a corp Policy all requisitions are to be made through Ariba for tracking the spend globally. Hence an intelligent interface was built between maximo and Ariba.
Ariba Buyer Rollout: Involved in rolling out Ariba to a new country. Process involved to complete all necessary data set up activities such as loading new ShipTo, BillTo, Currency Codes, languages, translation specific files, approval limits/rules, any new schedule tasks, new customizations specific to the new country, Analysis data loads for the new country, receipt push to core, define 2 Way or 3 way matching, catalog loads, supplier loads, commodity code loads, account loads etc
