The Stock Transfer application in Confidential provides Application Maintenance and Enhancements Services to Shareowner Services in addition to supporting its core business. It provides the various financial services required by the transfer agent. The BNY Mellon SS provides services to help public companies address needs associated with issuing stock and communicating with shareholders. Broadly, the services rendered include: 1. Shareholders service, 2. Corporate Actions, 3. Investor relation and communication, 4. Stock Plan Administrative Services. The Mainframe team of Systems Management Group handles Production support, Maintenance and Enhancement requests for the Stock Transfer application. It also works on resolving the various Help desk tickets raised by the Business users. The tickets can cover a variety of subsystems like Proxy services, Stock Transfers, Corporate actions, Check Reconciliation, Cash dividend services, Escheatment etc. and may involve change requests or just queries.
