- Designed and wrote aprocess to swing physical s from participant Merrill Lynch to become a new retail participant as part of Confidential ’s separation of retail and institutional broker dealer activities. The processing consisted of identifying and capturing the pertinent physical records, translating their old boxes to new boxes, and placing them on an AIMCDI-formatted file to be transmitted to DTCC for swing consummation. Multiple excel reports documented the audit trail, both pre-DTCC and post-DTCC. Coding was batch COBOL II/DB2 .

- Logging of ACA-mandated ERAs and EFTs: Created programs for logging of electronic remittance advice (ERA) and electronic funds transfers (EFT) events, as part of the monitoring needed to meet government-mandated requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). These were CICS/MQ and
- COBOL II/MQ batch called programs, complemented by an MQ ‘listener’ program utilizing MQDB2 and VSAM processing. Logging is initiated from both distributed and mainframe which results in the calling of my programs, to edit and put the events to MQ, where a ‘listener’ (written by myself) gets the messages and populates a DB2 repository table used for government reporting.

- Responsible for a major rewrite of a unique municipal courts ticket and criminal CICS/DB2 system to enable interfacing of Confidential ’s system with the State of New Jersey's Administration of the Court's System in compliance with state regulations. Interviewed state personnel and analyzed state court system. Determined how to transmit the privately-entered data to the state system so as to maintain compatible parallel systems with enforced data integrity. This system was the only private system in New Jersey that was allowed to process tickets outside the state system. I documented the private system and trained users. I worked independently as the CICS/DB2/VSAM programmer analyst on this project only occasionally enlisting a consultant to help meet deadlines.
