Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • I was responsible for the Data Quality stream of work for the Massage Envy POS conversion from MilleniumCO to Meevo. This role required me to define and execute the Customer/Profile Data Quality strategy for a 38+ million Retail Client Database (with 19% annual growth) and clean and move that client data from a distributed franchise-based model (1,200 Locations) to a consolidated Amazon Web Services cloud solution.
  • The first phase of the Data Quality strategy involved the internal identification and consolidation of duplicate customer records, and the cleaning of key customer data elements to facilitate the generation of a ‘golden’ composite record for migration.
  • The role required me to establish working relationships with major Data Quality solution vendors, evaluate their solutions and then select a partner to assist in the CASS/NCOA, rule definition and Name/Address Deduplication process. I also developed a complete end to end data reconciliation module using SQL’s Change Data Capture (CDC) to be implemented for the migration process.

  • I was placed on assignment by Envision at Confidential as a Solutions Business and Senior Data Analyst for the RAPID Project, the discovery, profiling, mapping and XML ETL analysis (Using the ACORD XML Framework) of Insurance Policy data from several core AS400 DB2/COBOL systems to a single or 'master' view Operational Data Store. The ODS was to become the precursor to an enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • The Agile based environment utilized both SQL Server 2012 and Informatica's PowerCenter in its profiling, mapping and cleansing process. This project required significant business interaction and business analysis to understand client requirements and objectives and to identify data sources that would meet those requirements. The establishment of a Data Governance team to assist the Data Analyst team in the creation of an effective MDM strategy was also a key component of this data project.

As the company rapidly expanded and Confidential was released, data issues became apparent that required remediation.
