- $2B + Pipeline project as my scope of the contract was only to negotiate and finalize subcontracts for the construction of six (6) compressor, booster and meter stations for a natural gas pipeline approximately 271 miles long, of which the first 105 miles was a 42” pipe with the remaining portion being 36” pipe. Project started in Delhi, Madison Parish, Louisiana area to the Coden, Mobile County, Alabama.

- Provided compliance oversight in support of the relief of victims of Hurricane Katrina / Hurricane Rita in Louisiana. The mission consisted of the statewide design-build construction of approx. 90,000 temporary housing units in planned communities, industrial sites and private locations throughout 52 of 64 LA Parishes.

Also tasked with facilitating efforts to provide Fluor/TRS Katrina-project related personnel with mandatory compliance including introduction to Government contracting, Government Property, time sheets, expense reports and work authorization documents. Additionally assigned with the review of all applicable BOA’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, Task Orders, contract modification and purchase orders and related releases for all competitively bid, fixed price greater than $500K, sole source over $25K, cost reimbursement, T&M, and letter contracts. Provided oversight of compliance issues in regards to the posting of all RFP’s and attendance of pre-bid and RFP “kick-off” meetings. Managed all lease agreements for staging depots, material disbursement facilities, living quarters and administrative and production offices.
- Bottom line: Ensured that Fluor was reimbursed by the Federal Government for all costs associated with FEMA Hurricane Katrina relief efforts by providing and facilitating the support, awareness and adherence to ALL applicable FAR/DFAR standards of procurement and government contracting.
