  • 6-Speed Clutch to Clutch transmission: provided leadership and growth initiatives and led design of advanced C2C wet transmission (Shanghai GM 2009~2012) by closely working with suppliers (Bosch/Delphi) to evaluate ECU (budget/cost, requirement/deliverables) and manage milestones of GM China Power train operation. Key member of Six Sigma and DFMEA teams to initiate GM project requirement, played important role in company’s profitable revenue growth.
  • New Shift-by-wire transmission design ETRS (2011 BMW/GM NAO): led GM and BMW’s next general transmission-by-wire project, identified suppliers, deliverables and assured system on-time delivery over 150,000 vehicles. PowerPC based OSEK system, CAN connection with engine and body systems to realize torque control to replace traditional IMS (stick shift) control logic.
  • 7-Speed Dual Clutch transmission: led algorithm design for the next generation GM’s DCT (X32F/Saab) with engineering team allover the world (Sweden, Indian and US). Developed new clutch/fork control logic to realize smoother shifts with better economy/performance combination.
