  • Program Manager of a power distribution products portfolio. Responsible for global release of newly developed product to two factories in Mexico and Czech Republic. This includes managing the progression of the program through the stage gate reviews and management approvals. Responsible for capital justification and approvals on a Global basis. This includes subcontract services and capital equipment. Current program financial management of 18.5M in annual revenues. Also responsible for the release of software and firmware enablement of the product portfolio.
  • In November 2010, promoted to new position within Emerson, controlling all of Emerson’s Division’s, license systems, processes and new development of a software suite environment supporting a “new to the market” Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) program called “Trellis”. This new product suite delivers comprehensive data center facilities and capacity management to the market not previously available. In addition this software suite included my efforts of the definition of the intellectual property protection methods to secure product revenue and theft prevention, security specifications, polices and procedures. This role reports to the Vice President of Engineering of Emerson’s Avocent Division.
  • Implemented Software Products Release Management strategy and consolidated all software products change controls.

IT PMO Manager

  • Manager of all Global IT Projects, this includes managing the Global Portfolio of business projects and transforming the IT PMO into the Corporate PMO for all corporate initiatives and projects. Established the IT SDLC and CMMI work processes into the organization. Also serves as Manager of IT Security, verifying Systems and Network Access Controls and HIPAA & SOX compliance.
  • As part of the IT PMO duties, served as the lead on business transitions such as divestitures and acquisitions. Examples include the acquisition and adoption of the Aperture Software Co. and the divestiture of the LANDesk Division of Avocent Co.
  • Tracked and managed global budget of $45M, providing budget forecast and performance measures for actual versus forecasted budget.
  • Led significant critical projects such as a new IT Trouble Ticket system environment called “GOIT”, improving the user experience. This project provided a unique user interface experience emulating the Apple’s iPhone motif. This new interface is now incorporated into the Avocent “Service Desk” product and is now a show case feature for marketing the product.
  • Created the software entitlements infrastructure and controls that enables increased software revenue capture for the “new to the market” DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) line of products from the Network Power Division of Emerson. This enables licensing compliance for software and embedded software systems using Flexera Software (formally the Acresso Company) and the ability to perform business intelligence of products sold/installed through a sales channel of over 900 distributors worldwide. This is expected to capture over $20M annually in increased sales.
  • Established IT Project Portfolio reporting which enabled improved resource balancing and cost tracking of projects. Implemented labor tracking system for IT cost tracking on special initiatives such as division divestiture and on boarding. This enabled labor reductions of $10.4M annually.
  • Provided the IT Governance model to the CIO and Executive VP Management by creating the IT Steering Committee format, collateral for monthly business decision making on IT initiatives, priorities and status. This revised business priorities to projects with only the highest business value and contributions to margin, revenue and trade working capital eliminating projects that diverted critical resources.
