Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) has a collection of many Applications used in the clients’ Insurance business. iMAX is one of the ESS applications and it gathers and processes Premium, Claims, Sales and Expense data from all the sources and creates the input for the purposes of Statistical Analysis and External and Internal Reporting and accounting. MAX Preprocessor on Mainframe is an upstream for iMAX, which receives data from Fields Systems. MAX Preprocessor formats the data and then sends it to iMAX landing zone. .iMAX extracts, translates and loads data to Mainframe for the downstream applications for further processing. Then the data is sent to Financial Data Warehouse, SAP and other datawarehouses and statutory reporting and accounting applications.
