Responsibilities:

  • Mitsubishi Electric was considering creating a BA position to facilitate requirements gathering and definition for their HVAC controls IT team. I was asked to establish the role and processes for them. I identified and managed the requirements for one software release and managed them to completion and delivery. I designed and implemented a requirements gathering tool for adding new HVAC equipment to their principal software - Diamond System Builder (DSB). I also conducted a business analysis for a major new functionality for DSB and completed a business requirements document for it. Cooperated with QA on a daily basis to resolve defects and fix bugs.
  • After five months, Mitsubishi decided not to fund a full time position for a BA.
