Responsibilities:

• Contracted through Symmetrix, tested the implementation of customizations to third party software products such as Service Now. HP’s ALM and Rally are both used by Confidential as repositories for test cases, test results, and test statistics. Analyzed scanned historical documents and created Excel workbooks of the important data values for future upload to a new DB. Was the sole QA person assigned to development of the new Confidential .com home page. Wrote new user manuals and updated older, existing, manuals. Lead QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Contracted through Apex Systems, Confidential . Tested the Florida implementation of the Affordable Care Act as it pertains to children. Focused on testing the conversion of an application as entered through a website, or as a referral to Medicaid or the Federally Facilitated Marketplace from a third party, into the Confidential Vida system. Created a set of scripts in SoapUI and the XML payloads necessary to mimic the production environment. Beyond testing the conversion process, another team also used those payloads to load data to complete their test cycle. • I came in as a lead for a 4 person team. After creating automated testing I trained a single offshore tester to work as the sole tester verifying the backend conversion. • Assisted in the research, choice, and purchase of Parasoft’s suite of tools. The QA team used these tools to formalize, preserve, and automate our tests, establishing a regression test bed to use while testing the back end payments processing system used between various retailers and some of the nation’s largest banking service providers.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

• The agile team created and updated software used by the Polish, Czech, Slovakian, and Swedish internet “yellow page” directory services, both browser and API formats. The QA work included estimating effort, deploying builds, writing test cases and, when appropriate, automating those test cases after story verification. Evaluated and re-factored existing test automation as necessary to maintain established levels of quality.
• As the sole on site QA member of an agile team of 12, assigned work to our offshore resources. The team created and updated standard and mobile web sites for Australia’s largest real estate company. Provided the QA view point and estimates in all sprint planning sessions and other team conversations. Testing was in a FitNesse Selenium environment, based on the acceptance tests (ATs) in the “stories” captured in Jira and company standards. Manually verified that the application fulfilled the requirements, then automated all appropriate test cases, creating XPath variables to do so. Browser comparison testing included IE, Firefox, Chrome, Blackberry, Android, and iOS. The iOS testing was done on both iPhone and iPad.
