- As a third party inspector the following duties were performed: Witness and verify compliance to Codes, Standards, Customer Requirements and RMP in the manufacturing process of Pressure Equipment, Industrial Fans, and Fire Protection Equipment. verifying material received with proper heat number marking, MTR traceability and required quality specs, inspect machined surfaces, visually inspect interior and exterior of components/piping: review approved drawings and verify that current drawing revision is used in shop; verify welding procedures (WPS), verify welders certifications (WPQ), verify welders welding parameters are maintained; perform 100% visual and dimensional inspections throughout fabrication process: verify that all witness and hold point are completed per ITP verify all Confidential processes adhere to approved written procedure, review all Confidential reports, including x - rays and x-ray reader reports: witness hydrostatic testing: verify P&ID; verify/monitor PWHT, witness FAT; notify Quality Department of all non-conforming issues and review all NCR’s per company QMS: review final document package and issue final release form.
- Additional working knowledge of the following codes/standards: API 60, 570, 594, 599, 602, 600, 603, 608, 609 and 527; API RP 934, MSS SP 25; ASME Section II A, D & C, ASME Section V, ASME Section VIII Div. I, ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, B16.34, and B31.2.
- Submit daily/weekly inspection reports/forms per contract requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Duties included creation and maintenance of weld procedures and welder qualifications; training and certification of x-ray technicians; Confidential of product using hydro, RT, DPI and VT; calibration and maintenance of gages and precision measuring instruments; corporate eye examiner, coordination of outside inspectors; project manager; and Radiation Safety Officer (RSO). Also responsible for communicating/coordinating with engineering, marketing, sales, scheduling and production management in order to insure that all Confidential and Quality requirements, (code and customer), were achieved.
- Through these duties I’ve acquired working knowledge of the following code books: ASME Section II A, D & C, ASME Section V, Section VIII Div. I, Section IX, B31.1; API 510, 540, 582, 650, 1104; PVHO, PED, NACE MR0175 and AWS D1.1; D1.6. I also assisted in the maintenance of our ISO, ASME, PED, PVHO, DNV and ABS quality systems and certifications. Other duties include lead internal auditor and secondary assistant in all external audits, i.e. Customer, ISO, ASME, DNV, PED and ABS.
- In accordance with SNT-TC-1A, Confidential Written Practice and ASME Section V & Section VIII Division I, I held certifications as Level II VT, Level II DP, Level III RT. In accordance to PED 97/23/EC I also held certification for Level III RT and Level II PT.
- Experience with most steel fabrication processes of material up to 5" thick, i.e. burning, cutting, welding processes (SAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SMAW, Stud Welding, HFO and CRO (using ER309L in CRO process)), heat treatment, material traceability, Confidential, proof testing, etc.
- Experience also includes working with the joining of materials with differing P-Numbers, including ENiCr-3, ERNI-1, ER2209 and 17-4 PH.
