SUMMARY
- At the end of 2012 the demands of raising our very young kids came into play so I made the choice to leave Confidential to become a stay - at-home Dad.
- Although I was telecommuting, my kids were becoming more involved with extracurricular activities, etc, so I decided to devote my time to the family.
- During the first 4 years I worked part time as a Substitute Teacher in a charter school and am now currently working full time at an Independent Living Senior Community.
- Many of the students at the charter school were exceptionally talented, so to keep QA fresh in my mind I worked with them in a unique way - interpreting their assignments to create test cases; thinking outside the box based on story analysis and working with each piece of data to create scenarios, both positive and negative.
- At times it was challenging for both the students and myself.
- I currently work full time at a Senior Community while learning SQL & XML to enhance my I.T. knowledgebase.
- Based on my experience and knowledge, my salary expectation is $55,000 - $75,000.
