- On the web, phishing is a type of attack that puts a person's sensitive information in jeopardy.
- Several solutions have been proposed to tackle phishing.
- Nevertheless, there is no single magic bullet that can solve this threat radically.
- So our project is concerned with identifying, classifying the various phishing websites that exists and creating Anti-Phishing software tool by using different data mining techniques, tools and classification algorithms, which consists of classification of the websites as 'Legitimate', 'Suspicious' or 'Phishy' based on various features.
- We carried out the process by collecting 2500 phishing URLs and 450 legitimate ones, applied the techniques and created a graphical representation using HTML and JavaScript to display results, in which feature the URL has passed/failed.
