Confidential Trader previously was using Keenan which is Java based application for billing. AutoTrader acquired many business units which made them buy an Oracle billing product called Revenue Management and Billing(RMB) for efficient biling. It was a huge effort converting from Keenan to RMB billing system . RMB is modern billing application used by insurance, banking and Health care. It has vast variety of services for all types of billing transactions. I was involved in testing the process of conversion from Keenan to RMB while going live and post live. Responsible for testing different aspects of billing, web services, new product configurations (PCR), Change requests, snow tickets.

Responsibilities:

IVR QA Analyst

The IVR is a high traffic application for VZW where 100 Million calls are hit each week that are handled by automated prompts and nationwide call centers . Vision is the backend Oracle database that houses the customer / retail store data and the relevant info is retrieved through the Peri / Java middleware. Retail IVR is a high visibility application for Confidential wireless - whenever a call is made to inquire about a store location or store timings; the call hits the Retail IVR application where a series of prechecks and inquiries return the appropriate information to the caller.

Persona and Conversational Speech for Retail

The goal of this project is to introduce a more natural conversational language as well as improve the customer experience. The added functionality is that the store information and address will be played back in a more conversation manner. The end goal is to create a better customer experience.

Five Second silence in Care and Retail

The upfront silence in care and retail occurs while the IVR looks up customer information when the customer calls from their landline. The silence is masked by engaging the customer with some communication. Once the caller enters the MTN we will inform them to wait a moment. The customer will hear some hold music (max of 5 secs) until the customer lookup is complete. The added functionality is that a vocab is added which informs the customer to wait while their account information is being retrieved. Benefit is improved customer experience .
