• While Confidential Kasikornbank his primary role was that of DevOps Architect where was responsible for designing and implementing an automated application deployment system utilizing Build Forge, Perl scripting, shell scripting, Rexx scripting, as well as Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest.
• The system utilized deployment information stored in a ClearQuest database to select application executables stored in ClearCase and to deploy them to test environments.
• Build Forge was used as the framework to intelligently coordinate the deployments to Mainframes, Unix, and Windows platforms, which required customized scripts in Rexx, Shell/Perl, and batch.
• Ryan installed and configured the Build Forge server and agents and created the Build Forge projects from scratch, including the design and scripting of all the interfaces to the various systems.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the Household Resource Management (HRM) organization, he led the effort to design and configure, using ClearQuest, a replacement for the in - house project management tool.
• He also led the effort to design and implement a source control solution, using ClearCase UCM, to manage the assets of the HRM development organization.
• This involved decomposing the development artifacts into UCM components as well as designing a stream strategy.
• He designed, tested, and implemented Rational ClearQuest reports using Crystal Reports Designer.
• He investigated, installed, and implemented integrations between Quality Center and the following Rational tools; ClearCase, ClearQuest, and RequisitePro.

• The solution utilized base ClearCase, in both Windows and Unix environments, integrated with ClearQuest, also in both Unix and Windows. ClearCase required an interop solution.

• During this effort, he designed and configured a ClearQuest-enabled UCM solution, integrating ClearCase with Confidential Websphere Application Developer (WSAD), for software development teams, enabling them to develop their code in parallel and integrate as part of a larger team.
• The Alliance project utilized ClearCase/ClearQuest UCM for the development environment as well as XDE modeling.
• The UCM solution is utilized by personnel in the United States and overseas, which required both ClearCase and ClearQuest to be replicated using MultiSite.
• He designed and implemented a stream mastership strategy to allow for efficient code development between the sites in Ireland, India, and the US. He designed, tested, and implemented reports in Rational ClearQuest using Crystal Reports Designer.
