  • While Confidential Kasikornbank his primary role was that of DevOps Architect where was responsible for designing and implementing an automated application deployment system utilizing Build Forge, Perl scripting, shell scripting, Rexx scripting, as well as Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest.
  • The system utilized deployment information stored in a ClearQuest database to select application executables stored in ClearCase and to deploy them to test environments.
  • Build Forge was used as the framework to intelligently coordinate the deployments to Mainframes, Unix, and Windows platforms, which required customized scripts in Rexx, Shell/Perl, and batch.
  • Ryan installed and configured the Build Forge server and agents and created the Build Forge projects from scratch, including the design and scripting of all the interfaces to the various systems.

  • This involved decomposing the development artifacts into UCM components as well as designing a stream strategy.

  • The Alliance project utilized ClearCase/ClearQuest UCM for the development environment as well as XDE modeling.
  • The UCM solution is utilized by personnel in the United States and overseas, which required both ClearCase and ClearQuest to be replicated using MultiSite.
