• I was brought in to assist the company during an IPO and company re-org.
• The company originally had no organized QA team and had only initially hired the first tester in late 2007 and subsequently a couple more development testers to write automation and the company was primarily using iMac machines and only 1-2 employees used Windows.
• Company public status required a formal QA team and processes put into place.

• After purchasing Netmechanic on my own and having the site checked and then I showed the horrific results report to management and finding major security leaks I was able to make some major changes. I implemented the use of Functional - Technical specs and Design documents which had not been in existence prior to my start date and provided template examples for Project Management.
• I evangelized that QA no longer report to development where historically it had no effect and moved the team to report to Technical Services and required PM and Dev provide documentation and that QA be part of the Sign-Off of all projects.
