Responsibilities:
- Leading the HMC/SDMC India team in ISST.
- Primary responsibility is developing test cases for the new features added in every HMC/AIX/Linux release and, performing system/integration test on variety of p-Series hardware and HMC. Focus was on testing HMC and AIX subsystems including kernel, NFS, IO, TCP, Network authentication services.

- I worked on AIX Compatibility Tool Kit (ACTK): It is a collection of test case used by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to verify that both their PowerPC hardware and AIX software implementation is compatible with Confidential 's AIX. I have developed the test case .The tests utilize AIX APIs to test the underlying software and hardware. The test suite contains both automated and manual tests. We have delivered this to Hitachi client.

Earlier Confidential VIOS was supporting maximum 16 node and 400 VM’s, But this new feature extended VMS support for 2000 along with 24 node cluster. Completely handled this line item from test case dev to execution, hardware planning, resource allocation etc.
- Handled component SSD (Solid State Drive) as part of NFT. This feature introduced in AIX 720 and 71S TL’s which will enhance IO throughput. Was responsible for understanding this feature, develop the test case and execute it to uncover max number of defects for AIX system test.
- Played Role of hardware coordinator where responsibilities includes allocating new hardware within ISST sub environment, keeping track of them, releasing the resources based on customer requirement.
- Lead the ODC team where we generate the report for total real valid defects for the entire release and analyze each defect for it’s component, escape area and other critical fields to check the AIX health in different component.
