• Loan Officer (LO) collects the borrower info, Borrower info is entered in the POS system (Credit Score, Loan Amount, Amortization term etc.,), Borrower is presented with different types of loan types (Conventional 30yr Fixed, 15 yr ARM, 5/1 ARM etc.,) they are eligible for based on the basic borrower info, Borrower selects the loan type he would like to apply for
• LO fills in the 1003 (Loan Application form) and submits the application.
• Loan is now moved to the LOS (Loan Origination System).Loan is sent for ‘Underwriting’ (Underwriter performs the risk analysis and approves or denies the loan).After underwriting approval is done loan is sent for ‘Closing’.

• As Per the Federal Disaster Protection Act (FDPA) regulations, a Flood Determination is required if one has not been provided within 6 years (per Bank of America Policy) or within 7 years (per FDPA) prior to the extension or renewal of the terms of the original loan or increase of the amount of the loan; and a Flood Notice is required if the property is located in a mandatory flood zone.

Borrower Portal Project:

• For this project, three new services are being created. The first Service is to transfer the document image provided by SFDC to iServices and the second service is to provide document status from iServices to SFDC.
• The third service is the Authentication service which takes Party ID from SFDC and provides the list of active iSeries loans associated with the Party ID. The system testing will comprise of testing all the elements, request and responses in the three services.

Mortgage Insurance Claims:
