Senior QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

Responsible for functional testing of Set top box code for Factory, Production, Systems, Automation and Regression Testing.
Responsible for functional testing of Sling/Blockbuster Web applications using Internet explorer and Firefox as well as testing Mobile applications on Android and IPhone
EAS (Emergency Alert System) testing
Follow written test cases as well as perform exploratory testing
Perform black box and grey box testing of software labels
Load development into set top boxes using Linux
Communicate software defects in strict accordance with engineering test standards
Review technician reports in reporting tool created by EchoStar L.L.C. and worked with Test Management, Project Management, and Development, in performing risk severity of reported defects and entered defects into JIRA
