System Support Analyst & Infrastructure Support

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support CCS software, written in COBOL, for input of lender and insurance company information into the system.
- Monitoring and modifying production schedule for Confidential, to optimize the nightly production streams, to complete on their scheduled times or earlier. Created COBOL programs to read Confidential reports, and create ‘pipe’ delimited files that are input into MS Project, for view prior nights production activity.
- Designed, and wrote using Enterprise COBOL NPPI (Non-Public Personal Information) tracking of user access, for all Confidential regions, via decoding QAHiperStation scripts, by unloading data, then converting into XML that is sent via USS and WRQ to corporate servers. XML control cards were used to define screens to be tracked, and where data is located on them.
- Maintain the IDMS databases, including creating COBOL software for transferring inactive lenders from active databases, to the inactive holding database, and purging inactive loans to archive.
- Generate data, from IDMS databases, to send to parent company, Countrywide Credit Inc., and later Bank of America, for required OFAC scanning. Continued archiving this data, for Confidential .
- Created system to send reports to AXSPoint (COOL), via FTP, with COBOL program that ‘walked’ the DEB/TIOT/DCB, for report and data set names.
- Modified CCS system to send letters and certificates to eXstream Dialog, in a ‘pipe-delimited’ file in Enterprise COBOL.
- Worked with the IBM mainframe vendor (SMS/Infocrossing/Wipro) for various tuning options, including working with their CA-ACF2 security administrators for application security and access, with their disaster recovery teams for the quarterly tests, and their system programmers on operating system upgrades for Confidential and Confidential, twice a year, testing production applications and third party products.
