• Developed a prototype of a handheld inventory control and order application. On the client side, the application was implemented in C# on.NET Compact Framework, using local SQL Server CE database. Used replication technology to synchronize inventory and product catalog with HQ. Order and inventory information was submitted to BizTalk using Microsoft Notification engine. BizTalk in turn created an order compatible with legacy EDI application and updated inventory level in an Oracle database.
• Designed and implemented a BizTalk application that received customer orders and ship notifications via EDI, transformed the data into an internal XML document, executed an orchestration processes performing interactions with SAP system via WebServices layer and persisted data into an Oracle database. Implemented all custom code in C#.NET, including integration components, orchestration components and a deployment application targeted 3 server environments.
• Designed and implemented a BizTalk application that integrated a Web application collecting Electronic claims at the hosting facility with an internal legacy application on Unix natural. Implemented payload encryption using Crypto API, reliable transport using a combination of MSMQ custom NT services and Web Services. Mapped the claim to a flat file via a 2 stage transform, utilizing functoids, and a custom preprocessor data formatting component. Used orchestration to define custom error handling and notification facility generating MOM events.
• Designed and implemented Web Service integration layer for FileNet document management system in C#.NET Problems addressed included threading issues between certain COM interfaces and a default threading model of ASP.NET; offline PDF document generation and binary document streaming via a firewall between a presentation server and a business logic server.
• Designed a migration path for a corporation to shift from Java Enterprise platform on WebSphere to Microsoft .NET. Intermediate steps included integration efforts between current projects deployed in WebSphere environment and the Microsoft platform. • Successfully scaled an Excel application, that computed insurance quotes across a workstation farm using a MSMQ broker custom application implemented as a set of components and services written in Visual C++ and Visual Basic.
• Briggs Consumer Site - Completely rewritten an e-commerce web site originally implemented around One Commerce. Implemented a data layer based on SQL XML; business logic elements like financial transactions with CyberCash, shipping calculations engine and XML session manager resided in COM components. XML Cloud session was rendered to HTML via cached XSLT transforms.
• Implemented an application, bulk loading Microsoft Exchange data into SQL Server. Utilized SQL2000 XML and CDO Exchange object model.
