  • Performed tasks with members of the Confidential IT department to switch Confidential 's primary data center services and duties from the Dallas data center facility to the Atlanta data center facilities. Worked with Confidential IT department team members to plan, architect and execute our move in 6 weeks. The execution was over a 12 hour window over a weekend to mitigate issues with production in the field.
  • Documented, tested, planned, mentored and implemented a Zimbra ZCS 4.5.x/RHEL 4.x to ZCS 5.x/RHEL 5.5 to ZCS 6.x/RHEL 5.5 upgrade solution to complete a primary phase in Confidential ’s plan for redundancy and scalability.
  • Designed, tested, improved and implemented a custom application server solution of apache, mod jk, tomcat and c3po running on CentOS to replace an expensive IBM Websphere implement ion. This reduced the cost of $18k license per core per server with four cores times thirteen servers.
  • Implemented IBM DB2 9.x on RHEL 5.x platforms to facilitate the Confidential data warehouse migration from PostgreSQL to DB2. Worked with DB2 DBAs, Storage Systems Administrators and Network Operations to facilitate the provisioning of the redundant and scalable servers. This included setting up bonded network interfaces, dual Fibre Channel HBAs, and MPP for systems redundancy. IBM distributed the Qlogic Linux kernel modules and IBM MPP Linux kernel modules as source code. I documented, tested and implemented the Confidential process for these technologies.
