Responsibilities:

Manage and support many clients in Tallahassee and surrounding area including Law Firms, Banks, Non - Profit, Medical offices, Vet Clinics and many other business types. Duties included were designing, building, maintain and manage all network devices including: switches, routers, servers, smart phones (android, windows phone and iPhones) and printers. I would service the clients with onsite visits as well as remote through TeamViewer, LogMeIn and Remote Desktop applications. I maintained Windows server 2003, 2008, 2008r2 and 2012 environments Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange 2007 and 2010, WSUS and other various roles. In these environments, I maintained Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and lastly Windows 10 workstations. I managed other services such as spam filters including Mcafee MX Logic, Symantec Cloud and Vipre Antispam as well as antivirus programs such as AVG, Vipre Business, Vipre Business Premium, ESET and Norton Security. Maintaining, managing and testing backups was also a top priority at the clients to make sure they were able to be recovered in case of a disaster or being hit with a Virus or Ransomware. I performed weekly restore tests of various files as requested by the client. The project I was involved in was called NMCI (Navy Marine Corp Intranet). We were responsible for the cut over of 27000 computers and developing one Domain and Intranet that connected all marine and naval bases into one trusted environment. As System Administrator under broad direction, I helped lead and coordinate the operational support and implementation activities for Local Area Network (LAN), Campus Area Network (CAN), and Wide Area Network (WAN) service offering many different platforms.
