• Completed a project for Confidential to build several images for their OS deployment and refresh. The project which required OS and application deployment was leveraged by MDT 2012 in conjunction with SCCM 2012. • Assisted Crossmark with their imaging solution and client OS deployment by leveraging MDT 2012. Assessed, designed, and built a “Gold” Windows 8 image using MDT that will be used across the company.

• Designed a high-level System Center Configuration Manager 2007 architecture to replace BigFix. This was a demo and proposal to management staff.
• Washington Mutual - Reviewed the design and built a System Center 2007 (SCOM/SCCM 2007) infrastructure for WaMu’s online banking. This replaced the old MOM 2005 environment and custom application deployment built by WaMu. The complex environment included transitioning all custom application scripts in MOM 2005 to SCOM 2007. The implementation also includes SQL Reporting Services for SCOM 2007.
• MOF assessment of current IT infrastructure within Confidential . Responsible for Problem/Incident and Service Monitoring SMF’s (Service Management Functions) solutions of the MOF quadrant to be presented to management staff.
• Boeing - Proof of Concept for SCOM 2007 to several IT branches in Boeing. A live demonstration was presented key decision makers using SCOM 2007 to monitor SQL, MOSS, and using DAD to demo an end-to-end service monitoring.
• Worked with director and engineer staff to design and build a MOM 2005 SP1 enterprise solution for Confidential in place of SiteScope. The design includes two source management groups rolling up to a destination group with DTS jobs to a separate data warehouse for reports and trending analysis. The project also includes building custom rules tailored to Confidential environment.
• Infrastructure and NOC build out of testing and production with integration from 3rd party software from QCSI (QNXT) and interface integration with BizTalk 2002/2004. Environment is multi-clustered with multi SQL 2000 databases to support a rollout of prescription solutions for the entire company worldwide.
• Worked in a team environment to create a $45 million proposal. Created a technical high level service management documentation that details the processes to bring Confidential from a current maturity level to level 3 maturity based on MOF and ITIL.
• Designed and documented a 250+ page operations management runbook for the State of New Mexico based on MOF ( Confidential Operations Framework). This requires doing a gap analysis of the current state and the end state in conjuction with the current Exchange 2003 migration state wide. In addition, recommended and design a MOM 2005 monitoring solution.
• Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 Upgrade - Documented and upgraded Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 upgrade for The Carlyle Group. This is a world-wide upgrade that required a complete upgrade in one weekend. Generated a process to synchronize the upgrade on a single weekend.
• Monitoring Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 migration - Made recommendation and re-building of MOM SP1 infrastructure at Accenture (ATIS Project) to monitoring and manage the Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003 migration. This include OS upgrades from Windows 2000 to Windows 2003. Documentation included a new architecture to support and leverage centralized monitoring and reporting.
• MOM Presentation - Created a custom MOM presentation for PacLife in an effort to help them decide on a solution for systems event management. The presentation was presented to key decision makers and IT staff at PacLife.
• MOM Proof-Of-Concept - Built a MOM and SMS solution in the lab for Sharp Healthcare as proof-of-concept and test against other vendors (such as Argent Guardian and NetIQ). Provided presentation where MOM was to be utilize for servers and systems management while SMS was utilized for client management. Full documentation and presentation was presented to upper management, including VP of IT.
• Infrastructure - Staffed in Sacramento to design and build out an infrastructure in NOC to support a custom application for the Sheriff's Department. The application enables a user to sign on multiple databases using one sign-on. The design is required to be supported in the current infrastructure without making changes that would cause security breach in the environment. project which required the need to integrate multiple directories for single sign-on. Implementation included documentation of the MIIS2003 installation on a Windows 2003 server. Additional work included creating security policies in Windows 2003 which acts as a PDC Emulator.
• MOM SP1 Implementation - This is an extension project to the original JPMC MOM Detailed Design. Designed a customized solution to monitor JPMC's custom applicatoin called ARGO and integrate with Tivoli. The Retail Banking Group (RBG) within JPMC required a monitoring solution for their ARGO application which consists of clustered SQL DB servers and IIS servers.
• Network Operating Systems Detailed Design - Helped build out an Active Directory and Network Operating Systems design for the Consortium IV, a government welfare system. This is an on-going project that will last more than a decade.
• Building Infrastructure - Built infrastructure (new NOC) from ground zero for The Carlyle Group. Responsibilities are to build out the servers for the environment, setup LAN/WAN connections with Confidential routing equipment, setup CSU/DSUs, setup custom applications and databases, provide technical support for clients, and other responsibilities that come with building out an infrastructure.
• NetIQ AppManager/Tivoli Responsible for building out an AppManager server that will monitor events in a Windows environment for Micro General. Events are then forwarded to the Tivoli server where the operator console monitors these events. This also included tailoring scripts to monitor Exchange, IIS, SQL, and AD for Micro General.
• SAP on Win2K Integrated MOM and NetIQ AppManager to monitor SAP on Win2K environment for Accenture benchmark testing. This included creating scripts and processing rules that forwards IIS, SQL, and AD events to NetIQ AppManager from MOM. Also configured NetIQ AppManager to monitor SAP since this isnt available in MOM.
• MOM at Confidential - Built MOM servers in NOC that will monitor 100+ servers in production for Confidential . This included designing a redundant environment that will forward events to one central location. Other responsibilities included sending bug reports to Confidential ’s MOM development team, providing feedback and suggestions for final release of MOM, and modifying scripts and processing rule groups to tailor to Confidential ’s environment.
