Insurance policies of Fortis bank have to migrate to ABN AMRO Bank as a result of merger/take over. This is done in two parts - One time migration and Monthly migration. This involves writing new programs on Mainframes platform; create new tables in DB2 environment.

Responsibilities:

As senior systems analyst/Lead developer, I am involved in all phases of SDLC - requirement gathering, analysis, designing the application, coding and testing phases of the project. Application is developed on IBM Mainframes platform.

As a senior system analyst, I am working on the Personal Lines Division Backend application and am solely responsible for Checkbook application. PLD backend application is based on IBM mainframes technology. Daily, Weekly and Monthly data from all the various segments of AIG direct/21st C is processed, balanced and reports are generated for business. Checkbook application works on HP UNIX and IBM mainframes (including CICS). Check cashing database inputs are received from various sources (both premium refunds and claims) each day. These files are fed to Checkbook system by the HP UNIX box to IBM mainframes.
