Responsibilities:

  • Worked for 3+ years in the MQ/Middleware environment and an MQ admin. Mainly responsible for upgrading MQ on both z/OS, Linux/Unix, and Windows servers.
  • MQ support provided to application staff on a daily basis and primary on-call duties every 10 weeks. Also made familiar with Datapower and IIB interfaces with regard to MQ.
  • Worked for 5+ years within the CICS administration area. Mainly responsible for adding entries to CICS RDO (i.e. PCTs, RCTs, FCTs etc.), for new projects within the CICS infrastructure and working with the various application areas to debug issues with their CICS coding.
