• Responsible for Network Integration Confidential 10 Confidential & Confidential Wireless sites including Bermuda this included the installation and testing of the network prior to turn-up and post turn up of wireless system.
• Used IPSec on dial access and wireless contivity to start data session after accessing and validation on cell site of the mobile.
• Testing done was to establish connection to cell site from mobile phone. Any and all modifications to any of the equipment was done through Unix/Lenox servers/workstations as needed.
• We used our laptops using Citrix for the Confidential (secure shell layer) to communicate with each individual cell site.
• We all used this layer for FTP and for setting up batch API's for upgrades of software as well.
• All communication was done through TCP. UDP was used to access the antenna controllers and cisco routers.
• Scripting used was python/C script/Perl/text on HP Unix server to integrate and turn up cell sites as well as checking antennas for bad lines or RETs for that particular market.
• This was both voice and data. Mobile testing was part of the requirement to deploy the cell site.
• Assisted in the building the CLLI, Lat/Long information for all of the cell sites within the market as needed.
