  • As an Architect I designed a solution to on-board multiple retailer’s data load with single table driven approach v/s retailer specific table/DS job approach.
  • Data Services 4.0 used as an ETL tool for loading data from flat file to DB with required transformation lookups and data format. Merge, Query, Validation transformations were used for data load.
  • Confidential Parallel Transport (TPT) was implemented for faster load. Around 89Million records are loaded from 1289 flat files in 15minutes.
  • Confidential SQL scripting task for creating views & macros.
  • With this solution on-boarding a retailer is less than 2days compared to 3months with the retailer specific approach and the solution I proposed is more robust and dynamic with no hard coding etc.
