Responsibilities:
- Work on the TIS Converged Application Provisioning Team, as the Team Lead for the thousands of Windows builds and support them prior to the servers Go Live to Production
- Working to replace all the physical server builds and older OS versions across the company
- Assist internal departments with requests to build new VM servers for all environments/domains including Dev, Test, QA, Prod
- Building VM s mainly with Windows 2016, 2012, and some 2008 as exception builds.
- Of those servers we build standard Application servers, Citrix servers which are being replaced by VMware Horizon builds, Web / IIS servers, and SQL 2017, 2016, 2014, and 2012 Database servers as Standalone or AlwaysOn
- Review server build requests from the ServiceNow portal, approves or rejects accordingly
- Submits the builds into our vCenter Orchestrator UI, troubleshoots any issues within vCO or vRealize Orchestrator for the actual build process
- Completes any ancillary software installations either through BMC BladeLogic Server Automation Console or manual installs
- Support all servers, for maintenance requests, software installs, and reviews incidents open against the servers
- Work with WFA (Work Flow Automation) tool to create NAS. Work with creating encrypted NAS, at rest or in motion, along with replicated NAS across datacenters

- Work with the departments and vendors to install the various requested applications, and or troubleshoot issues
